Matching Rules

A number card can be played if it matches the top card's color or number. For example, a Red 5 can be played on any Red card or any 5 of another color.

Action Cards

Action cards add strategic depth to the game. There are 2 of each type per color, making 24 action cards total.

Skip (Block)

8 cards (2 per color)

When you play a Skip card, the next player in rotation loses their turn entirely. Play passes to the player after them. In a two-player game, playing a Skip card means you get another turn immediately.

Reverse

8 cards (2 per color)

Reverses the direction of play. If play was moving clockwise, it switches to counterclockwise and vice versa. In a two-player game, a Reverse card functions identically to a Skip card — you get another turn.

+2

Draw Two (+2)

8 cards (2 per color)

Forces the next player to draw 2 cards from the draw pile and skip their turn. A Draw Two can be played on a matching color or on another Draw Two card.

Wild Cards

W

Wild (Change Color)

4 cards (colorless)

The Wild card can be played on top of any card at any time. When you play it, you choose which of the four colors the next player must match. This is extremely useful for switching to a color that dominates your hand.

+4

Wild Draw Four (+4)

4 cards (colorless)

The most powerful card in the deck. When played, you choose the next color and the next player must draw 4 cards and lose their turn. You may only play a Wild Draw Four if you have no other card matching the current discard color.
